CUSTOM PAINTINGS - Capture what matters most

Hey There!
As a Kentucky-based artist specializing in custom portraiture and a full-time educator, I have the privilege of living and breathing art every single day.
My Journey & Training
My formal training began at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, where I earned my degree in Art. During those formative years, I had the incredible opportunity to study for four years under world-renowned portrait artist Michael Shane Neal. It was also during this time that I met my husband, Ryan; we married in 2007 and have been teaching together at Union County High School for the past 20 years. While he handles the history books, I spent my days teaching 9th–12th grade Drawing, Painting, and Studio Art.
Life in the Studio
Whether I’m painting live on-site at weddings or working in my home studio, I am constantly creating. Every week brings a new subject, a new student, or a new canvas. When I’m not in the classroom, I am dedicated to producing beautiful, custom commissions that capture life’s most precious moments.
Faith, Family, & Inspiration
Above all, I am driven by my faith in Jesus Christ, without whom I could do nothing. I am blessed abundantly with a wonderful life centered around my husband and our three energetic boys. Our days are happily spent at church, on baseball fields, and around basketball courts—usually with our three miniature dachshunds (Moxie, Rolo, and Tilly) nearby.
To my supporters: Whether you’ve been with me since the beginning or have just joined my journey, thank you for being a part of my life! I truly cherish your encouragement and support. I hope to use the talents God has given me to honor Him and to bless others through my work.
